About
Hi I’m Christina
I’ve been actively involved in the field of nutrition since 2008 where I graduated from the Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition department of Harokopio University in Athens. My passion for sports led me to pursue further studies in Applied Dietetics and Nutrition on Sports, where I graduated in 2010 with honors from Harokopio University.
Drawing from my experience as a champion myself in synchronized swimming and an Olympic medalist in Youth Olympics in Moscow in 1996, I recognize the importance of specialized guidance for athletes. I have provided scientific consultation to athletes, including being a scientific associate of Sofia Bekatorou Olympic sailing crew in 2008 and 2016, as well as the Russian sailing crew at the London Olympics in 2012.
I have worked as a scientific associate of the COPD rehabilitation unit at the Thorax Institute of the University of Athens and completed internships in clinical cases at major hospitals in Athens.
In 2017 I completed the Precision Nutrition Counseling Program, a highly recognized programs in the field of Behavioral Management.
Since 2011 I’ve been running my private practice where continuously provide holistic guidance and advice to patients. My main focus is on adapting personalized healthy eating models that yield optimal and long term results.
My philosophy and goal are to help people create a dynamic relationship with food and their body, learning how to use nutritional and health challenges as tools of a pathway to their transformation.
Through nutritional coaching and behavior changes, I consult with people on how to eat real, healthy food in a way that is scientifically proven to prevent and cure diseases.
By creating a personalized health map, through a holistic approach, taking into consideration factors such as exercise, work, sleep, stress, environment, medical and family history, as well as the lifestyle of the patients, I am able to guide them towards a mindful eating.
